"I’ll come to your next game." She reached over and squeezed his arm with a grin. "With all this going on its hard to think you would get hurt too bad."
He smiled and shook his head, “They sneak up on you sometimes. Not…
"Second nature to be pumped by other guys?" She teased. "You might need to get checked. But I know what you mean."
" I was thinking more like, second nature to not be afraid of a bunch of guys coming at you but whatever." He hummed, giving her a playful nudge with his elbow.
She laughed and nudged him back. “Doesn’t sound much different.” She teased. “How’s the season going? Kicking ass?”
"It’s alright. Won a few, lost a couple." He shrugged, giving his stomach a scratch. "The season is ending soon though, so I hope it ends well."
"Hopefully it does, it’s never fun to end a season on a bad note." She played with a stray curl, seeing someone come out with their food.
Ludwig nodded, “Plus it’s better moral support for the school if we win at the end of a season.”
"Then everyone will stay pepped up, right?" She asked.
He nodded, “Yeah, best to end on a high note. Did it last year and it worked out pretty we’ll for us.” Ludwig wasn’t going to mention how well it wound up for him though.
"I bet. This school gets so pumped up for anything sports related. It’s pretty to watch." She chuckled, the woman standing at Ludwigs door with their food.
Ludwig lifted his hips to pull out his wallet, paying her with as much exact change as he could manage. “You don’t get excited by sports?” He asked, taking the bags then his change from her, dumping the coins in his cup holder.
